OSKA GROUP was established in 2004 by Tom Yuan and Karen Kuang. Born in China, Tom Yuan immigrated to Sydney, Australia, in the late 80s to start a new life abroad. Originally studying law in Beijing, he soon found his knowledge in Australia redundant,
and attempted to find work in Sydney. He eventually found work in a factory in Canterbury Rd, where he was taught the fundamentals of joinery and cabinet making.

After working for more than a decade, Tom finally decided to leave and start his own company, OSKA KITCHENS & JOINERY, with Karen Kuang in 2004. They bought a small factory in Peakhurst and began manufacturing and installing for various clients. In 2008, the company was relocated to Campsie, where it currently resides, now under the name OSKA GROUP.

The company has completed countless projects, ranging from residential homes to high-end hotels. Our most notable jobs include: COMMONWEALTH BANK, UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY, CROWNE PLAZA, KENT ST APARTMENTS, TOWER ONE BARANGAROO, YHA and AXIOM. We’ve partnered with some of Australia’s biggest building companies such as LORDS, DEVELOPR, SMXL and SHAPE.

At the heart of the company, OSKA is a family business. We value and honour our team and clients, helping them build their dream homes and spaces with our bespoke joinery. We continue to learn and grow with each passing year and, more importantly, build on
our large network, which has taken us decades to establish and importantly, cherish.
